CLEP exams are administered once a month at Kean University. Exams cost only $95 plus a $25 administration fee, compared to hundreds of dollars per course credit at the college.

What do I need to bring on test day?
- A valid registration ticket from the My Account registration portal.
- Registration forms or printouts that are required by the test center. Make sure you have filled out all necessary paperwork in advance of your testing date.
- Administration fees. Each test center charges an additional fee and sets its own policy for payment.
- A government-issued physical identification such as a driver's license, passport, or other official government ID that includes your photograph and signature. You will be asked to show this identification to be admitted to the testing area. The first and last name on your ID must match the name on your registration ticket.
- Exam length varies depending on the subject. CLEP exams are anywhere from 60-90 minutes.

- Most results are calculated as soon as you finish the exam. Written exams will take two-three weeks and will be emailed to you.
- Students requiring test accommodations based on individual needs, should visit the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) website and click on Request Accommodations. Please submit your request at least four weeks in advance of desired accommodation start date. For more information, please contact OAS at 908-737-4910 or by email at accessibilityservices@kean.edu.
- Approved accommodations should be sent to testing@kean.edu before scheduling a CLEP test appointment.
- DO NOT REGISTER for the exam without approved accommodations. Contact CLEP Services at (800) 257-9558 or email clep@info.collegeboard.org for information about other accommodations.
